That being said, I have yet to hear about a case where someone who actually had an authenticator had been hacked. If it is session spoofing, then your random targeting was unfotunate, and you certainly have my sympathies. Further, I am not even sure why out of everything I do online, banking, identity stuff, legal stuff etc that only Blizzard products require a third party RSA fob to be secure

The official Blizzard line is that the game is full secure and somehow thousands of people are becoming infected with some sort of super virus that has been created to steal Diablo 3 passwords, yet fully ignore anything that has real world value like banking or identity information. Looking at the forums some people have been waiting days for a rollback to no avail, they seem to be swamped with requests right now. I have had a ticket open with Blizzard now for 18 hours asking for a rollback that still has received no attention. This would further lend credence to the theory that they can spoof an instance of your game, but not gain full access over your account. One common trend that most people have noticed after being cleaned outis that their sub characters, no matter the level or gear are left untouched. The only thing I can see that would fit would be the early trending rumors of "session spoofing" that allows people to create clone instances of your character / game just to clean it all out.

Going with what I said above it is fairly safe to assume that there is no software on my computer that could have given my password freely to any hacker. This morning, the day after the "attack" I ran a full scan of Malware Bytes (flash and file), Microsoft Security Essentials, and AVG and all retruned negative I am an comp sci graduate who makes sure my stuff is up to date and protected.
I do not visit sketchy sites, nor have I ever had any kind of issues like this with my computer before.I have never shared my account information with anyone (friend, family or otherwise).I only have my real life friends on my friends list.I have a unique password set to my account that only gets used for D3 (avoiding any cross site attempts).I had heard the rumors of the D3 hacks going around but thought it could never happen to me. So this morning I logged into my Diablo account to find my level 60 sorc stripped of all gear (probably about 10mil+ worth) and all my coins gone (about 5 mil)
